Kingston Bagpuize House is one of Oxfordshire’s finest wedding venues and also one of its best kept secrets. Offering couples exclusive access to the estate, you and your guests will be sure to feel at home.

We are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring couples feel as special as they should on their big day. That’s why we only ever hold one wedding per weekend, no matter what time of year. So you can be sure to have our full attention for your big day.

Your dream wedding venue in the heart of Oxfordshire

This Oxfordshire wedding venue offers a truly remarkable experience for couples and their guests.

Kingston Bagpuize House has several options for ceremonies on site. We are licenced to hold ceremonies on the front lawn, with the House as your back drop and the avenue of Wellingtonias on either side the vista is incredible. You can also host your ceremony under the Pavillion in the Woodland Garden surrounded by incredible foliage and greenery, the maximum capacity for this is 120.

Should you want to hold your ceremony inside the House, the spectacular Drawing Room is perfect, our inside ceremonies can hold up to 97 guests. More information can be found below.

If you would like to hold a blessing elsewhere on site we would be delighted to show you the many options from West Park, to the Wildlife Lake as well as various other beautifully manicured spots throughout the Estate.

Due to the size of the Estate, you are welcome to hold your Wedding Breakfast or Party elsewhere on site there are several different locations that you are welcome to use and we have a list of marquee, stretch tent and tipi suppliers that we can recommend for every event.

One of the most popular options for those getting married at Kingston Bagpuize House in the summer months is a lawn wedding.

The ceremony is held in the doorway to the Drawing Room which is elevated by steps and wedding guests take their seats on the front lawn of the house.

This is a great way to make the most of the stunning house, as well as the beautiful gardens.

Getting married on the lawn gives you the option to have your reception either in the house, or in the stunning marquee.

    Weddings benefit from exclusive use of the house including the Entrance Hall, Drawing Room, Library and Dining Room

    You will have access to the bridal suite for the duration of the day.

    Couples will have a dedicated wedding co-ordinator as well as a team of experienced staff

  • Exclusive use of the grounds

    Your wedding party will have exclusive use of the grounds including the Woodland Garden, Garden Park, Pavillion, Croquet Lawn and the Avenue

  • Fully equipped marquee

    Should you want it, there is access to a full equipped marquee which can seat up to 200 people

  • Licenced Bar and staff

    We have a fully licenced bar on site as well as a team of experienced bar staff

  • On-site parking

    There is ample on-site parking. Cars to be collected by 10am the following day

    We have worked with hundreds of suppliers. We will give you all the introductions you might need.

Accommodation

Kingston Bagpuize House is still used as a family home so on-site accommodation is currently unavailable. However, we have a range of accommodation as close as 400 metres from the grounds that are available to our couples and their guests.

BE Eventful have been partnered with Elegant Cuisine for many years now and their teams work seamlessly together. Offering not only additional event management services within their prices but their flexibility and approach to weddings is exactly what our couples want.

From open days with wine tasting to choosing the perfect menu, highly trained staff to execute the day and a great team of talented chefs Elegant Cuisine will make sure your food and drink surpass everyone’s expectations.

Their three course wedding breakfast menus begin from £55.00 per person + VAT and these include tea and coffee as well as all table linen, crockery, cutlery and staffing. They offer a huge choice in menu selection for the day and are happy to discuss and design individual dishes for your big day. Their drinks packages begin from £23.50 per person + VAT and they will help you to choose the package that best suits you and your guests
